My Kit is invitation-based. To get started, you need either an invitation link from an existing organization owner or access credentials provided by your administrator. Once you have those, you can sign in and begin adding inventory right away.
1

Sign in to your account

Go to mykit.info and click Open My Kit. On the sign-in page, enter your email address and password, then click Sign In.If you don’t have an account yet, ask your organization owner to invite you. They can add you from the workspace settings.
If sign-in fails, double-check your credentials and try again. Contact your organization owner if you don’t have login details.
2

Review the dashboard overview

After signing in, you land on the Overview page. This is your situation report — a live summary of everything in your workspace. When your workspace is new, the overview shows zeroes across the board: no firearms, no rounds on hand, no range sessions, and a kit value of $0. Four stat cards run across the top of the page:
  • Firearms — total count, with a note if any are out of service
  • Rounds on Hand — total round count across all calibers, with estimated value if you’ve entered cost data
  • Range Sessions — number of sessions logged all time
  • Kit Value — combined value of firearms, gear, accessories, and ammunition
Below the stat cards, the Action Items section appears when something needs attention. Two charts at the bottom track rounds fired per firearm and your current ammunition on hand by caliber — both populate as you log data. The sidebar on the left gives you access to every module: Armory, Ammunition, Gear & Clothing, Range Day, and Shares.
3

Add your first firearm in the Armory

Click Armory in the sidebar to open the firearms module.Select Add Firearm (or the equivalent add button in the top-right corner of the page). Fill in the details for your firearm:
  • Name — a label you’ll recognize, such as the make and model
  • Caliber — the chambering of the firearm
  • In service — whether the firearm is currently active
  • Purchase price — optional, used to calculate kit value
  • Cleaning interval — optional, how often the firearm should be cleaned; My Kit will surface a reminder when the interval is approaching
Save the record. The firearm now appears in your Armory list and the Firearms stat on the overview updates immediately.
Add accessories — optics, suppressors, lights — directly to a firearm record. If an accessory has a battery, set a replacement interval and My Kit will remind you before it’s due.
4

Add ammunition in the Ammo Depot

Click Ammunition in the sidebar. Select Add Ammo and fill in:
  • Caliber — must match a caliber you’ve added to a firearm, or you can add it freely
  • Brand and product line — for identifying the specific load
  • Quantity — current round count on hand
  • Cost per round — optional, used to calculate ammo value on the overview
  • Low-stock threshold — the round count at which My Kit flags a warning on the dashboard
Once saved, the Rounds on Hand stat on the overview reflects the new total, and the ammunition chart updates at the bottom of the page.
