A loadout is a named, reusable collection of items from your Armory and Gear Cage. You assemble it once, give it a name, and then open it whenever you need to see exactly what gear goes with that configuration — and how much it weighs. Loadouts live under Gear Cage → Loadouts in the sidebar.Documentation Index

When to use loadouts
Loadouts are useful any time you maintain distinct configurations for different activities. Some examples:- A competition loadout with your competition pistol, belt, and mag pouches
- A hunting loadout with your bolt rifle, binos, and pack system
- A home defense loadout with your carbine and plate carrier
- An EDC loadout with your carry pistol and everyday gear
Creating a loadout
Open the new loadout form
Go to Gear Cage in the sidebar and select the Loadouts tab. Click + New Loadout.
Name your loadout
Enter a name (required) and an optional description. The description appears on the loadout card and in the detail view.
Add items
Select firearms from your Armory and gear items from your Gear Cage. For each item you can specify:
- Worn on body — mark items carried directly on your person (holster, belt kit, plate carrier). These appear in their own “On Body” section in the detail view.
- Inside a container — if you’ve added a gear item that is a container (e.g., a range bag or backpack), you can nest other items inside it. The weight of the container and its contents are grouped together.
Editing and deleting a loadout
From the loadout list, click Edit on any card to reopen the loadout form with the current items pre-selected. You can add or remove items and change the name or description. To delete a loadout, click Delete on the card or inside the detail view. A confirmation prompt appears before the loadout is permanently removed. Deleting a loadout does not delete the underlying firearms or gear items — it only removes the collection.Weight breakdown
When you open a loadout, a donut chart shows the total weight of all items that have a weight recorded. Items without a weight value are excluded from the chart but still appear in the item list. The outer ring groups items by how they’re organized:| Group | What it includes |
|---|---|
| On Body | All items marked “worn on body” |
| Container name | The container itself plus everything nested inside it |
| Loose | Items not on body and not inside a container |
Weight data comes from the Weight (oz) field on each firearm and gear item. If that field isn’t filled in, the item contributes nothing to the chart. Update the item in the Armory or Gear Cage to add weight.
