The Competitions module gives you a permanent record of every match you shoot. Whether you compete in USPSA Production, IDPA CDP, PRS, NRL, 3-Gun, or Steel Challenge, you can log your results, track your placement over time, and review your classifier history — all in one place.Documentation Index

Supported competition types
My Kit supports the following formats out of the box:- USPSA — United States Practical Shooting Association
- IDPA — International Defensive Pistol Association
- 3-Gun — Multi-gun competitions
- PRS — Precision Rifle Series
- NRL — National Rifle League
- Steel Challenge — Steel Challenge Shooting Association

Adding a competition result
Open Competitions
Go to Dashboard → Range Day and select the Competitions tab (or navigate directly to the Competitions section). Click Add Result.
Enter the match name and type
Give the result a descriptive name — include the match name and year if this is a recurring event. Select the competition type from the dropdown.
Set the date and location
Enter the match date and location. Both fields help you identify the result when reviewing your history later.
Select your division
Enter the division you competed in. This is a free-text field, so you can use whatever designation your specific rulebook uses — for example, “Carry Optics,” “CO,” “Limited 10,” or “FP.”
Enter placement and score
Record your overall place and division place. Add total points and hit factor if applicable. For USPSA classifiers, enter the classifier number so you can look up the stage later.
Add notes (optional)
Use the notes field for any context that isn’t captured by the structured fields — stage breakdowns, equipment issues, or observations for next time.
Reading your match history
Your competition history is displayed in reverse chronological order — most recent match first. Each entry shows the match name, type, date, division, and your placement at a glance. Open any result to see the full record including score data and notes.Frequently asked questions
Can I track multiple matches from the same event weekend?
Can I track multiple matches from the same event weekend?
Yes. Each result is a separate record, so you can log a Friday side match and a Saturday main match as two distinct entries.
Is hit factor required?
Is hit factor required?
No. Hit factor is optional and only relevant for formats that use it (primarily USPSA). Leave it blank for time-plus-penalty formats like IDPA or round-count formats like Steel Challenge.
Can I track classifier results separately from match results?
Can I track classifier results separately from match results?
Classifier results are logged the same way as match results. Use the Classifier number field to record the classifier stage designation, and note your classification percentage in the notes field if you want to track it.
What should I put in the Division field for IDPA?
What should I put in the Division field for IDPA?
Use your IDPA division and category — for example, “CDP Master” or “SSP Sharpshooter.” The field is free text, so you can be as specific as you need.
