A range bag in My Kit is a named snapshot of the gear you packed for a specific session or match. Rather than relying on memory, you record each item — with a category label and quantity — so you have a precise reference for what you brought. Range bags are tied to a date and can be shared with other My Kit users.

Create a range bag

1

Open the Range Bags tab

Select Range Day from the left sidebar and choose the Range Bags tab. Click New Range Bag.
2

Name the bag and set a date

Enter a Name for the bag — something descriptive like “Sunday USPSA Match” or “Weekend Carbine Course”. Set the required Date to associate the bag with a specific outing.
3

Add items

Click Add Item to build the contents list. For each item, fill in:
  • Item name — what the item is (for example, “Ear pro”, “Extra magazines”, “Bore snake”)
  • Category — a label to group similar items (for example, “Safety”, “Ammunition”, “Cleaning”)
  • Quantity — how many of this item you packed
Repeat until the bag is complete.
4

Add notes and save

Enter any optional Notes — packing reminders, weight limits, or special instructions. Click Save to store the range bag.
Use range bags to record exactly what you brought to a match or class, not just what you planned to bring. After the session, note anything you forgot or didn’t need. Over time, your bags become a reference you can reuse when packing for similar events.

Delete a range bag

Open the range bag from the Range Bags tab and select Delete. Deleting a range bag removes only the bag record and its items — it has no effect on sessions, ammo inventory, or other data.

Share a range bag

Range bags can be shared with other My Kit users. To send or receive a shared bag, see the sharing documentation.
